EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 375 
(Revoking Executive Order 232)

	WHEREAS, a process for coordinated state and local
government review of proposed federal financial assistance and
direct federal development was created by Executive Order 232  
pursuant to federal Executive Order 12372; and
   
	WHEREAS, Executive Order 232 established a State
Clearinghouse for the review of all proposals for federal
programs covered by Executive Order 12372; and 

	WHEREAS, the process established in Executive Order 232 has
not resulted in enhanced intergovernmental review of proposals
for federal programs and is elective under the terms of Executive
Order 12372;
 
	NOW, THEREFORE, I, William F. Weld, Governor of the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts, by virtue of the authority vested
in me as the Supreme Executive Magistrate, do hereby revoke
Executive Order No. 232 effective November 30, 1994.
