Directions:
From the East or West:
Take I-90 to Exit 4. Take I-91 North to Exit 26 (Greenfield). Bear right onto the first exit off of the rotary, onto Route 2A (Main St.). Follow directions "From the Rotary" below.
Alternative Northern Route from the East:
Take Route 2 and exit south at Route 2A (Greenfield Center). Route 2A becomes High Street. After 2.7 miles, turn right at the yellow flashing light onto Main Street. The law library is in the two story, red brick courthouse on your left. Turn left just after the building (onto Hope Street) and enter the parking lot on the hill at the rear of the courthouse. Main entrance to the building is in the rear.
Alternative Northern Route from the West:
Take Route 2 to the Greenfield Rotary and go halfway around to the second exit off the rotary onto Route 2A (Main St.). Follow directions "From the Greenfield Rotary" below.
From the South:
Take I-91 North to Exit 26 (Greenfield). Bear right onto the first exit off of the rotary, onto Route 2A (Main St.). Follow directions "From the Greenfield Rotary" below.
From the North:
Take I-91 south to Exit 26 (Greenfield). At the rotary, go three-quarters of the way around to Route 2A (Main St.). Follow directions "From the Greenfield Rotary" below.
From the Greenfield Rotary:
Once on Route 2A (Main St.), proceed through three traffic lights. At the next intersection on the right, make a right turn onto Hope Street. (The red brick courthouse, which houses the law library, is on the far corner.) Make a left into the parking lot on the hill at the rear of the courthouse. Main entrance to the building is in the rear.
The Franklin Law Library is on the top floor at the far end of the building and can be reached by elevator. (Press "2" for the top floor.)
Accessibility:
Handicapped parking is available on the street in front of the courthouse and in the back parking lot. The handicapped entrance is at the front of the building on the left side. The door is locked; ring the buzzer for a security officer to open it. The elevator is just inside this door and provides access to the library on the top floor. (Press "2" for the top floor).
Some stack areas are not accessible - aisles are less than 31" wide. The tables do not accommodate wheelchairs and the microfiche reader/printer is not in an accessible area. Handicapped accessible restrooms are available on separate floors.
