Directions:
From the West:
From Rt. 2, take the Rt. 2A exit. Then follow Rt. 2A north approximately 5 miles until you reach a rotary. Go 3/4 of the way around the rotary, under the RR bridge, and through the light. Continue on Rt. 2A until you reach a big boulder on the Upper Common. Then carefully merge into the left lane as the road curves around the common and brings you to a traffic light. Go straight through that traffic light past the Workers' Credit Union and take the 2nd right onto Prichard Street. Take the 4th right onto Hartwell Street.
Courthouse parking lot entrance is located on the right, just before Elm Street. The library is in a gray stone building on the corner of Hartwell and Elm Streets. The entrance is in the back parking lot, facing the YMCA.
From the East:
From Rt. 2, take Rt. 12 exit. Then follow Rt. 12 north to the 5th traffic light and bear right over the bridge. Carefully merge into the left lane and turn left onto Main Street on the far side of the bridge. Take 2nd right onto Prichard Street, which will curve left after 2 blocks. From the curve, watch for Oliver Street, Fox Street, and Hartwell Street. Turn left onto Hartwell Street.

Accessibility:
Unfortunately, the Fitchburg Law Library is in an inaccessible building, with stairs and no ramps or elevators. Given that, we are happy to do whatever we can to assist you, if you cannot obtain physical access to the library, including faxing materials to your home or office. Please let library staff know how we can best assist you in your research.
